Maybe in between fishing stuff , u seen something out there!!! I wish for dome proof / of that skyline!! Lol
You are probably asking yourself why I would say is Santa a UFO? Some theorists believe that the earth is hollow. With google map it is unavailable to see between the true north pole and magnetic north pole. Natives have been seeing flying discs coming and going through that area for hundreds of years. Is someone hiding something?
Hey, here's a heads up about a new show on tv tonight:
Chasing UFOs - channel 93 or 241 - 8:00pm
Seen it at 2:00pm earlier today and it looks like a winner!
Hope you enjoy it. More conspiracy!
Here's a new one! Rubbing alcohol, antiseptic ,iodine on the hook removal spot...??
No joke - over the pond in England, this is what the catch and release anglers do. Not sure what its called, never heard of anyone doing it here. Will we be doing it here in the future?
Well that was fun. Lots of good thoughts, thanks people! Just don't want to hurt our little buddies. People brag about catching twenty fish a day - does anyone think about the fish and their poor wounds. Don't put the fish on the rocks.
It's easy to get too excited when you catch the big fish and not pay attention to the life of the trout. Especially when taking pictures. Photos welcome.
With hundreds of etiquette things to remember when you are on the river, remembering everything you need to bring on the trip, and all the rules / regulations you need to have in your back pocket, fishing is still the best sport to live. Here are some etiquette tips I believe in:
-cut the leader off your rod and tie it on your buddies when he's frustrated with a tanglation so he can still fish
-pack extra drinks / food for the team
-pack extra long sleeve shirt and hat
-when floating the Bow and passing another party, a nod of the hat is suffice - knowing you are not interfering with them
Send some of your tips -even if they seem trivial to you, we need to hear them.
Been tying some serious flys - adding to my top six. Been on fly fish calgary all weekend off and on. With all the serious fly fish Calgary topics going on I thought it would be refreshing to pull out the UFO topic. Anyone have any interesting tidbits you'd like to share with the team.
Having trouble getting the video working, but here is a pic. Lots of lights and stories out there especially on the web. Still looking for some fun on fly fish calgary with ufo stories, maybe I should switch it to ufo flys. Proud to be a member of fly fish calgary.
thanks

Was a little bored today - saw a bunch of PVR'd alien shows- had it on my mind. Just thinking with all these shows and radio programs seems like they are out there. Are you members too scared to talk about it because of the Men in Black? LOL
This tool was grandfathered to me and it has saved many trout lives after they have deeply swallowed a fly. I recommend that everyone puts this in the "backpack" to take fishing. What is your grandfathered tip?
Any members have an antique they'd like to share (that they still use today or not)?
to add to SanJuanWorm's backpack
Tools have changed over the hundreds of years of fly fishing, but the oldies are still as good as the new ones. Here are a few of my grandfathered items:
Changing up the thred a little - this might be more interesting. Show your antiques!
