I think Wholesale's are Springbrook flies. You may need a license as bhurt says.

Great tips, guys.
Thanks

Looks great. Interested to hear how the variations work.
What's your technique for furling the floss?

Fantastic shot. Thanks for sharing.

The tool most are describing is called a "Tie-Fast" knot tool and it's true that the trick is to hold tight and pull quick.
ps Nice one, Jack! Same idea as the "Tie-Fast" but floatability is a HUGE bonus.

Hey, just to add a positive. the traffic and parking is not that bad at that end of eighth ave. It's metre parking and you could probably get away with sneaking a few minutes out of the metre monitors.

Cast to it?

I've seen a weasel in the rocks at the FC boat launch. They're pretty small though, so I doubt a weasel could've done that to a fish that size. They mainly hunt mice and small birds I think.
Right on, headscan. Weasel's out of the question, otter's unlikely but there are mink around that could be the culprit...or yeah, a bird or possibly bigger fish.

Ok. Here's a negative report in a mature way. I also love patagonia and am sometimes embarrassed at being decked out in Patagooch head to toe (actually I don't have any of the socks or boots so head to ankle) at work and play.
I'm looking for others' reports on the Watermaster II waders. Mine leak and they don't have too many trips on them. When I initially sent back my SST+'s I got a pair of the first Watermasters. They started leaking so I sent them back and the model had already been replaced by the Watermaster II's.
I am starting to shy away from the brand when it comes to waders. I love the pockets and suspender system, built in gravel guards, etc but mine are leaking in the seams. Anyone else have anything to say about their's? I'm willing to give them another shot but at the same time...I think I've gotten my moneys worth out of the original purchase and don't feel bad about trying something new. I know Simms are bombproof as well so might head there.
ps Brent, they might help you out with your shrinkage problem. Most of their stuff is guaranteed to shrink just a couple percent.

LF,
I love Patagooch, too. But, the waders have not been the same since the SST+. Sent my old beat-to-s&*t ones in a couple years ago and they have warranteed 2 subsequent pairs that leaked really quickly. I appreciate their customer service but I think it's time to switch to Simms.

I'd give it 17"

If you tie 'pheasant tails' in all the colours the pheasant tails come in you can imitate the nymphs of pretty much any mayfly out there.
Great ties KF.

Yeah, or a buffalo

It's a cow skull! You can see the horn pointing down and to the left in the first pic. Also the nasal cavity in the middle.

Yeah, it's certainly nothing to argue about but it is interesting to see the poll results.
