  1. He's probably making a video for Youtube. Another bragging fame seeking fly clown in Alberta. We have enough of these already. If I see this guy I'm going to start skipping rocks his direction; he probably think they're risers.
  2. I don't fish there, so I could care less. Enjoy the river orgy.
  3. So you're saying the rivers aren't busier than they used to be? C'mon...... And don't worry Jeremie, you are always going to have guys like Weedy1 and his buddies who are into river orgies.
  4. You're totally right, but there are individuals in this sport who seek fame and believe that; A: More people knowing about a river means there are more people who will protect it. (Wrong) B: Fly fisherman should share every detail about rivers so we call go fish together in some type of 'Utopia'. C: The rivers / lakes are places they can exploit to make money. I'm with you completely; people need to be quiet. Several rivers / creeks I used to fish with relatively few anglers are now overrun with people because of the internet / mags / and guidebooks. It is a very unfortunate situation, and this season it has got particularly worse. You know it's getting bad when there's fly fishers in every pool of a remote mountain stream....throwing lead and bobbers, but at least we can make fun of them.

  6. Get an 8 wt. For your 3rd rod; get a 4wt.
  7. Nice one; that does work.
  8. Quading, ATVing etc. should be banned from all but a few designated areas; there is nothing positive about these modes of transportation being used in sensitive wilderness areas (except perhaps by law enforcement of for rescue operations). I do agree, however, that the open camping situation is more complex.
  9. I've snorkeled a few trout rivers, super cool!......and cold!
  10. Great video. http://www.mikekasicsound.com/FishMan.swf
  11. Quading or 4x4ing into remote areas is bad no matter what the intention. The noise from these vehicles is one of the major reasons they disturb and damage sensitive areas; it is not just the visible damage. Except for Government services all vehicles should be banned from off-road use in the forestry areas save certain areas such as MacLean <sp creek (an eye-sore of Alberta). If you can't get there on foot (or mountain bike in some cases), then you can't go. People that use off-road vehicles to gain access to remote areas are doing damage no matter how careful they are; and there seems to be a correlation between people who use these modes of transportation and people who disrespect the wilderness. And in many cases it is just laziness; walk, hike or bike......it is better for your health and the well-being of all living entities. I would prefer not to smell exhaust, hear loud engines, and watch overweight beer-guts fly past me while fishing or hiking.
  12. It appears my head is out of my ass......and up yours.
  13. MJ was acquitted in both alleged cases of child molestation. In fact, the first case was actually settled out of court; who would take money instead of seeing the man who molested their kid go to court? Maybe someone who was trying to set MJ up? I've seen some dumb comments on here....but some of these ones? It's amazing how ignorant some people are? One thing is weird though; the resemblance between Lynn and that lady that MJ had his kids with.
