For dry fly fishing i use the following. 8lb maxima (4feet), 6lb maxima (2feet), 5 or 4 lb maxima (2 feet) then attach flies. Way cheaper than tapered leaders and is basically the same thing just tie a good knot and away u go.

If for nothing else try a griffiths gnat in dirty water. Try skating your flies a bit too.

I'm headed down in a couple weeks and floating the bighorn river. Might even get the yellowstone too. Just wondering if anyone has fished it and how it was.

Ridgeline casts very nice but I would never buy another one due to the problems brent mentioned. Mine is the same way.

From today at Lower K. I tried to get my camera half in the water but the water was too dirty. Turned out ok though.

u can gear 2 people up easy for 1000 bucks. Always wear glasses. Thats the golden rule.
