Hell I am staying out of that state all together!!!

I have both Breathables' and Neoprene's, and wear my breathables with Fleece and Polypro's under but and there is always a but.. if I am going to deep wade or to be out for the whole day, I will go with the Neoprene's..... The breathables's have neoprene boots so that is not a problem.. No really much of an answer but lets say food for thought, also do you get cold easily now or get cold feet... This is for the Crow and the Oldman in the winter..

My resolution and Goal is to convince all of you Calgary fly fishers that the Bow is the only place you can fish and it is the only place to catch fish unless you want to go to Grande Prairie ya that is it... GP has great fishing right in town just like you do ... Go there HA HA HA HA HA MY Resolution is to fish smaller streams or to just hike near the smaller streams for the hell of it..

Thanks man...and you are very welcome, I would not trade my time in the army for any other "Job", I never had a bad day in the army some damn uncomfortable ones but never a bad one, except maybe the last one when I said goodbye. I look more like this now, ( long hair and a bit of a beard) but will always be a Troop at heart...

I do not like to brag, or gloat about "what I got, etc... but the wife says go for it... so here it goes... I got about $4 thousand bucks worth of Fly tying materials, including a Nor-vise and all the extras, and just a ton of fly tying materiel, wife paid much much less then that, the old owner hurt his neck and can't sit to tie, also got Korker Guide boots, H/H Polypro underwear, and one of those copy old records to CD things. A Bird hunting vest, and apparently being chased off the river by a grizzly is enough to make the wife and kids nervous so they got me a "Spot", the 911/SAR team on your belt.. and my middle son made a car model to commemorate my 24 yrs in the Army, that made me cry... damn kids grow up when you are not looking.. I am the most spoiled old man ever...

Check out Bermis Bed and Bales, they were good to my wife and I when we went winter fly fishing on the Crow and got snowed in for two extra days..

Agreed, but if you like your coffee black then try this.. Black coffee, shot of JD or Jim Beam whiskey and a tsp of Sugar to soften it up if needed.... the stronger the coffee the less sugar you need...

Make Moose milk .. Large bowel.. vanilla Ice cream Spiced rum LOTS... Egg Nog.. Whipped cream.. Spiced Rum LOTS... Sometimes Can milk.. Navy Rum Lots....

HA HA Hi Maxwell When we lived in Wainwright, fished mostly lakes, NO running water after October so really needed to get out in the winter.... If you ever get down this way, ie Lethbridge, let me know I will show you the rest of the vintage stuff I have manged to acquire in the past 30 years of collecting... I have posted some on FAOL, and other sites.... PS: I am not one of the vintage Items

Wading Boots too tight, wader neoprene booties too tight, socks cotton.. Bigger boots, Looser Wader booties, change socks to Polyprop socks. you may have not noticed this stuff in the summer.

Nope I retired in 06, NOT 1906 either!!! Worked for CUBIC for 18 months and when my pay did not get to where I was first promised I told them to give me a 10% raise or I am gone!!! I was not kidding!! and I don't lie, There I was GONE..... Too damn much work for the pay and pain...... Forced into retirement, fighting DVA for proper pension... fish/hunt when I can, go a day and spend 3-4 recovering...that's why sometimes my grammer and typing suck, Legally stoned Can't do any thing else for now, except Piss folks off in the big City... The Scummy Pot....... Only when I had to.........
