  1. Yeah, those Opti Switch Rods are Badass. Max and Brian were workin there tails off, but $750 was a little to spendy for me as well. Although they were gonna throw in a $550 reel and the switch rod for ~$950.. but i'm still too poor. As long as I have a new rod when September rolls around for steelhead season, I'll be happy.

    Great Show!

  2. I agree, the Edmonton rivalry is weak, but for some reason the Edmonton fans seem to think it is still competitive...that's like saying the Washington vs. Carolina/ Maple leafs rivalry is strong.

I think Vancouver is gonna be tough this year, especially in the playoffs.

Calgary really does need to get there act together on the PP, it's pathetic AGAIN (just like last year). If Calgary wants success in the playoffs and not another early exit they are gonna need stellar Goaltending, strong special teams and consistent secondary scoring.

    Go FLAMES!

  3. It's settled then, I'm tagging along during your next steelie trip up to Smithers! you bastards...lol. I was there 5 days and never landed 1. But hey... that's what keeps us coming back.

    Great vids.

  4. The problem with beating the red horde is they don't think they can loose. And any team that gets a late lead on them seems to go into a bit of a shell and prays they don't come back instead of keeping up the pressure. When you combine the talent pool they have with the unreal confidence, it makes them very tough. Think Tiger in the Tiger Slam days. No way to beat him, had to wait for him to beat himself.

Maybe we should play you in football instead. Or baseball. Or basketball. Or soccer. Us looser yanks need to feel better about ourselves.

Regarding the football game, 3 downs or 4 ...?

  5. I'd say its fine for kids. The language is pretty clean, with very few swear words. People die in the action sequences, but you see that kinda stuff in Saturday morning cartoons these days.

The lineups are what you would expect on X-mas with a great movie. I'd say arrive at least 1 hour in advance, and add 30 min to that if you watch it in 3D (which you should definitely do). Of course the earlier you go, the better seats you will get.
