I have heard the only way to get anything done and get a lower plan is to not just threaten cancellation, but tell them you have made up your mind and you are cancelling. Then stuff happens. Has anyone here cancelled their land line? Why do we still have home phones?

Absolutely. All guides (resident and non-resident) should be registered and meet basic criteria. The best non-resident rule I have heard of is from the states (can't remember which one) but the deal is you pay whatever your state charges non-residents. All our rivers should be classified. Make them pay whatever they expect us to.

I need prescription glasses and have tried many of the options. By far the best I have had are my polarized prescription Ray-Bans in copper colour. As much as the Wayfarer brings me back to my youth they are of modern design. I wanted them photo chromatic as well but they couldn't do it. I thought $300 was reasonable. I think I read somewhere there has to be some tint to polarize a lens. If my funds were unlimited I would get another pair in the bright yellow for dusk/dawn and overcast days.

My guess is while the person was fighting the fish it swam into the underside of a rock. I watched this happen to a fish I was reeling in once. It was not that big a wound but it was severe. My second guess would be a mink. Beavers will eat dead flesh? I thought they were strictly herbavores.
