hey thanks a million guys you have helped me out a ton. I am taking all that advise and hopefully going to slowly learn and gain an understanding and take my time and tackle this. I figure i will do it right and take as long as it takes and and as long as the wallet will allow.

hey guys, Jus tthrowing it out there. I have been looking around lately and am becoming fairly interested in making the feeble attempt to make my own split cane rod. have any of you guys done this before. i would be very interested in seeing it and talking it over. i figure the winter bues are setting in so i think it is a good time to look into new things to build for the next while.

i am new to this site, and let me say its pretty sweet. lots of info i am impressed. so how does one join in on this contest. i am fairly new to tying but i have a couple terrestrials of my own i would like to share around.
