Hello everyone. I’m looking for advice on choosing the best trolling motor battery for regular fishing trips. I currently use my trolling motor for several hours at a time, so runtime and reliability are important to me. I’m considering lithium, AGM, and traditional lead acid batteries, but I’m not sure which option offers the best value over several seasons. Is lithium really worth the higher upfront cost, or would a quality AGM battery be a better choice? I’d also appreciate recommendations on battery capacity, charging requirements, and brands that have proven reliable for other boat owners. What battery setup has worked best for you?
