darrinhurst Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Hit the Liv for the first time with fruinincalgary. He's been there plenty, and was nice enough to show me around. The weather was great, had an awesome day. Even if the fishing (for me anyway) wasn't that great..lol Did manage a couple of cutties (Craig has the pics) and that's about it. But Craig landed a beauty Bully. Colours were gorgeous, so I jumped at the opportunity to take some pics of it for him after I helped him land it. Not huge, but big enough. Big yapper..... Beauty colours. I was busy a bit down stream keying in on some of the only risers we saw ALL day! When he called out he had a Bull on, I came to take the opportunity to get my eyes on my first Bull. The river was higher than the last time Craig was out, but it was still fairly clear. Good trip all in all. Quote
Harps Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Starting their spawning runs. Bulls will be on redds soon and into September. Quote

darrinhurst Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Nice Bull, glad your Liv trip turned out better than our Fallen timber trip. No kiddin! Water was high, but not too bad for vis. Fish just weren't rising. Which was sad. Quote
