SteveM Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Great pics, Cheeler! Have you had much luck with the goldeye? Love the spotting on that Crow 'bow; but no trout is purtier than a brookie! Quote
cheeler Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 Great pics, Cheeler! Have you had much luck with the goldeye? Love the spotting on that Crow 'bow; but no trout is purtier than a brookie! I met a spin fisherman there who suggested a dragonfly nymph if they weren't rising, and he was right, they hammered that all night long. Not a fish I go out for too often though, usually just in late spring. Quote
Jayhad Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I think brookies are pretty too, no matter the pic or size, thanks for sharing Quote

Teck71 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 great pics Cheeler, sounds like you had a good year so far. And the logjams on my last trek out to the section of fallen timber claimed 42 flies from me. That sect. does show why it is called "fallen timber" Quote
