I bought a new TFO rod and they have an offer that if you buy a rod they will send you a new floating line for $13. For that price I'll give it a try. When it comes to equipment, I'm always of the old advice "you get what you pay for," which is why I'm not loving the free line my friend gave me at the moment. jack Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 If they are TFO "First Cast" they are probably out of China, same factory that makes Cortland entry-level lines(and many other brands). If they are TFO "Special Delivery" they are probably SA made.
