Motorola Cell Phone Photo Downloads

I have a cable that connects but can I download photos direct from the phone to the computers?

 

Any techno wizards know how?

If your computer has Bluetooth, you can do it that way.. Set it to "discoverable", scan with your computer, and file transfer is easy..

Bluetooth is basically wireless.

 

First up, what make/model is your phone? Most have a slot now for a microSD card - I got a 2 gig for 10 bucks. makes life so much easier to transfer pics.

No slot...cheap phone. I do have the cable connection. It downloaded a utility to my computer but I think it is to just be able to charge on the computer.

if it is a GSM phone you should be able to download Motorola phone tools. (search motorola's site) If it is a CDMA phone then it's locked nad you need to pay $.50 to send pics to your online photo album, which you will need to set up prior.

but what kind of phone is it? make and model required for assistance.

 

If you have the cable to plug your phone into a usb port on your computer, then that's all you need. If you downloaded a utility and installed it, then you should be able to fish through and find your pics to transfer. Generally you can update contact information as well with the software.
