Frenchcreek
I saw this set up last year but I did not look closely. Can any of you guys (guides) explain how to set this up and what additional gear, if any, is required? This is the set up where the anchor rope is doubled up (?) and this makes it easier to pull up the anchor.

Check out their website , there is a picture that show the rope tied back up with the anchor hanging off a pulley.
jdangler
Sorry should have added, it all has to do with mechanical advantage, twice the power to pull the anchor with have the labor. I bought my pulley at Mountain Equipment Coop.
dino
The pulley and shackle are attached to the anchor. The rope end now loops through the pulley and connects back up onto the arm. Yes, twice as easy, also, almost twice as much rope required from before & twice as much length to pull up. see here http://www.clackacraft.com/accessories/pulleyanchor.htm Regards Dean
