Can any of you guys (guides) explain how to set this up and what additional gear, if any, is required? This is the set up where the anchor rope is doubled up (?) and this makes it easier to pull up the anchor. Quote

Check out their website , there is a picture that show the rope tied back up with the anchor hanging off a pulley. Quote
jdangler Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Sorry should have added, it all has to do with mechanical advantage, twice the power to pull the anchor with have the labor. I bought my pulley at Mountain Equipment Coop. Quote
dino Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 The pulley and shackle are attached to the anchor. The rope end now loops through the pulley and connects back up onto the arm.
