flyfishfairwx
Hi all I have family coming to visit in July, it is their first visit out west and first vacation in a lot of years.. I would like to book a cabin near Banff but do not know any places.. the criteria are - large enough for five adults and two and 1/2 dogs... just for one or two nights ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance for your info...
thefisherking
I stayed at the baker creek cabins a couple of years ago. It is between Banff and Lake Louise. Nice place right beside a creek. Might be able to catch a fish or two in there. http://www.bakercreek.com/hosts.html

Even their "low end" rooms are awesome, and the service is always top notch!
darrinhurst
You can try looking here as well..... http://www.ownerdirect.com/lodging/canada/...ationalpark.htm I used them for a golf weekend in Fairmont last year. The rates the owners charged were reasonable, and the home we rented was beautiful. Worth checking out.
jonny5
I stayed at the castle mountain junction cabins. Pretty good layout, and there are some bigger ones too (like 1200 sq feet i think). And the chalets have a nice little cast iron stoves and lots of snow outside the door to keep your beer cold certified. http://castlemountain.com/Photos.html
