Best Places To Buy Material

I would like to ask you expert tiers where the best place to buy materials are? I am planning on hitting Calgary on Saturday to round up some mats for a CDC caddis dry pattern, golden stone and a Clouser minnow. Is there any one place where I wont have trouble finding every thing I need?

 

Any help here would be appreciated.

Try fish tales on Mcleoud south RED

Fish tales has a good selection of materials! I have to watch what I spend in there sometimes.

I got frustrated with wholesale sports selection, so i tried Russell's just off Mceleod Trail, they had a good selection,

and some of the new stillwater solutions product line....nice stuff.

I have some of the stillwater dubbing in a few different colors, nice stuff to do dubbing loops with. However when twisting the dubbing on does anybody else find that its loses its color a bit??

Fish Tales is good but for me Russells is closer. Never had a problem at either place.

if you up in the NW go to troutfitters. great selection there. then again you were asking the experts, and im far from it

There is no one place. Seems like whenever I'm looking for a specific item, I have to visit 3 places before I find it. Either they don't carry it or they are out of stock. I wonder why its so hard for some of these places to keep their stock up. I understand if they don't carry it but when you see numerous "out of stock" tags, they need better inventory control software.

This is somrthing I have noticed with all the shops : the best selection seems to be from mid December to mid January. Most times I have to make a milk run for items I need to tie orders that I get .
