Wool Head Sculpin

ive been wanting to tie this fly for awile but have no clue about the wool head,is it like dubbing? if anyone has a recipe, a step by step or some insight please post!!!

Haven't had much luck with patterns along this line had more luck with the other streamer patterns. Might make a good one for bull trout if that's what you're thinking. Wool is easier to build a head with than deer hair.

i've seen a similar pattern to that tied with non-leaddumbell eyes within the wool head. makes for good weight in the fly and it even looks like eye balls.

Thanks for the tip, I might have to tie some of these now. I was wondering what I could do with the ram's wool I collected off a branch while hiking into Twin Falls last year.
