webby Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Went on a Guided Bow Float with my Father-in-law and Brother-in-law yesterday. So far this year i've been skunked everytime i've picked up my rod. Well, not only did I end my slump, but I caught my personal best from the Bow. A 25" Brown!!!! A real Beauty. Tagged as well. Also caught a 21" Rainbow and the Father-in-law, who was in my boat, caught a couple 19" and a couple 13". We also caught a bunch of tiny babies around the Highwood. All in all, a wonderful day. Will post a couple more pics right away. Pics were 1Mb large, so trying to shrink them, unfortunately, quality is sacrificed a lot. oh well Quote
webby Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Here's the 21" Rainbow, notice the green on is side...it's like he's shedding...never seen this before. He's got it on both sides of him. Quote
webby Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Here he is out of the net...shows his size a lot better Quote
birchy Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Nice fish! The green spots are probably wounds that healed over or something.. Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Well done. Nice fish. Guides really help with learning to fish the bow. Quote
esleech Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Nice fish, and looks like a great time. Where'd you get that net? Who makes it? Thanks. Quote
Gil Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Good looking fish. If you can afford it using guides are a great way to learn. I've had the good fortune of having a couple friends who are guides as well as being able to fish with guides entertaining clients for work. I've learnt a tremendous amount from them. Quote
