luukesh
You might wanna check out the stretch of highway(40) between Grande Prairie and Grande Cache if ya get the chance......Kakwa,Little Smoky, CutBank, Simonette(sic), etc etc......good streams and no crowds. A guide would be a huge help......theres one from the area that lurks here........ PS careful during hunting season.......peeps with guns everywhere!! SanJuanWorm
You'd have to be more specific on the area. But luukesh is right on the money with my favorite streams. North of hinton up to GP is the best stretch. Around ft. mac you are more likely to get grayling in the smallish streams. They are just as fun though. Go catch pike on the fly too. cheeler
There was an article about fishing the streams in the fort mac area (Hangingstone, Wandering River, and another one) in Barry Mitchell's 2007 fishing guide. Don't know if you can still find it, but someone around here might have a copy hanging around.
