darrinhurst Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 I saw a couple of guys walking along Glenmore on my way home from work yesterday, with rods in hand, crossing the bridge that goes over the resivoir. Then, as I was exiting to 14th, I noticed a couple of other dudes actually fishing on the bank of it. Are there actually fish in there? Quote
Din Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?...amp;hl=glenmore check that link...also can try a search. Topic has come up lots recently. Hope that helps. Quote
darrinhurst Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 Sorry, I guess I am functionally challenged. Do the streams that lead into the reservoir have any fish in them? No mention of that in the other thread. I can reasonably assume that couldn't I? If one went into the Weaselhead area, could anything be found in there? Quote
ham Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 You can find some small fish in the weaselhead its not really worth it in my opinion but as you get closer to the reservoir theres some pike that can be found. Quote
Parry Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 There are some GIANT fish in Glenmore, i know a couple people who have pulled out 8pound Browns, and even heard of my friend getting a 15+ pound Trout. That being side, these fish are almost always caught when the ice is just coming off the res and fishing in the summer is generally slow as the fish tend to go deeper. Quote
