Hello folks my name is Kevin,I just moved from Ontario to Hinton Alberta I came with a bag of clothes my rods and some basic fly tying tools. I would just like to ask your opinion about what flies are staples that you absolutely would not go without in the rivers here. I am sure there are some that are the same as back home but judging by the looks of the rivers here I may have to learn to fish all over again. I am really looking forward to catching graylings and bulls. Also glad to be new member of your forum and thanks for the help.

Oh man Hinton is a great place to live.

Two great rivers just north are the Wild Hay and the Berland river.

Grayling like royal coachman dry flies for some reason. I usually put a dropper on that is a very small prince nymph.
