A buddy of mine has a little 6'6" orvis trout bum 2wt that he really likes. Great for really small cutty streams in the mountains.

I bought a custom made 6' 2wt rod off ebay for less than $100. It was made by an outfit out of New York state. I didn't do any research into the company and it turned out to be a fantastic rod. It's my favorite rod for Stauffer.

as for the creek it is a sweet rod. Lots of interest in this one and I know a couple of guys working at Calgary shops who use this as their go to rod on smaller waters

exactly why i mentioned the Creek.... casted it with B.I. when he first got it..unbelievable rod

I have the TFO 6' 2wt and I think i have more fun with this rod than any of my others. I put a Cortland 444 Silk line on it and it amazing how much distance i can get out of it

Thanks for the ideas guys...ended up pickin up a G-Loomis whispercreek 8' 2wt with a Tioga reel...sweet little stick...
