Weedy1 Posted May 31, 2008 Author Posted May 31, 2008 How about triploid Brookies into two lakes in PP2? Even odder. Quote
bulltrout Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 funny how they haven't listed the NicSher stockings yet... Quote
cheeler Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I stopped by Mt. Lorette on the way out of K country on Saturday - didn't see a single sign of a fish. Do they list here even if they haven't done it yet or is there an escape route for em at the end of the ponds? Quote

highwoodfisher Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I think I met you there cheeler. I didnt see anything Quote
cheeler Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Nobody we talked to (three or four groups) had seen or caught anything. I was hoping to help get my friends kids hooked on fishing there. Quote
bigbowtrout Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Any word????? I'm camping near by and would like to get my little one into some trout but if it was last stocked in May then it's probably empty. Quote
cheeler Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Was still empty back on the 15th. Sibbald Meadows would be the better bet. Quote
bigbowtrout Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Well we hit Mt. Lorette as it was very close to our campground. The fishing was awesome for the little one as she caught a handfull on the fly and I caught more then I could count. The fish seem to just hang in schools with the odd cruser but they were rising to my caddis all day long.I can see why this place gets empty very fast as people were dragging them out left right and centre and using some crazy rigs to do so. I would say there are a few hundred left in the upper pond as well as the lower pond so get out while they last. Quote
