After spending all of yesterday on the river throwing clousers to slinks and residents browns with a wimpy rod, my shoulder is about to fall off. Anyone know of any GOOD sites that explains and demos the single haul.............I really need to learn this.

I use both a "slip cast" and/or a single haul when fishing streamers. Unfortunately, I'm not experienced enough to describe "hauling", but slip casting alone can provide ample loading when using a heavier fly (streamer), especially while using a/n (intermediate) sinking line or sink tip, IMO.

 

Not sure if this info is helpful, but I hope it is, somewhat...
