Tako Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 No. The best fishing is whenever you make it Quote
ladystrange Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 whoa, it gives you instructions on how to predict weather using a pig spleen. how can you go wrong? the chart give a fairly broad time line for fishing. there has to be a good couple of days fishing in there somewhere, just not sure if it soley related to the moon. maybe if we used the moon chart And the pig spleen, we might have a good idea. or we could just go fishing on a day in the chart when the barometer is moving Quote
reevesr1 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 There is a very good South Texas fishing magazine that has several pages of best/worst fishing times based on moon/tides/etc. I know people who swear by it. We actually use it to help plan our big trips. It certainly has some validity in salt water. That said, I'm mostly with Tako. The best time is when you can go. Quote
