fishpro Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Hello everyone, this summer I am going on a large trip and am hoping to get a fish mounted / a replica made afterwards. Does anyone have any taxidermists that they have gone through and were pleased with? Any recommendation for who to go to or who to avoid? Any input would be great. Thanks Quote
admin Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Personally, I would have a replica done up. Just get the measurements of the fish and a couple good pictures. You won't need to worry about the conidion of the fish either. JMO on the subject. Quote

MMAX Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Did any of you ever see the wood carvings of trout in Vic's shop (Crowsnest Angler)? The guy who makes those does a hell of a good job. I imagine if you give him measurements and some good pics he could carve you a nice replica. I asked about them last year and the name they gave me was John Tarcon, but check with Vic again just to make sure. Quote
