Glenbow Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 Dear Members, A friend of mine in NZ has written a fly-fishing book about his travels and he's trying to get it published on kickstarter. He's a great guy and a hard-core fly fisher. His name is Stu Tripney, some of you may have heard of him. He's the only FFF certified master caster in NZ. He's only got 12 days left to meet his funding goal and he's less than $1000 away from his target. In case any of you might wish to pledge for a copy of his book or make a donation, here is the link to his kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cicada/jungle-blues-is-an-adventure-travelmenoir-book Thank-you to any of you who decide to take the plunge. romariofiorini Posted September 20 Posted September 20 That Kickstarter fly fishing book sounds fantastic! I love it when people take the time to share their expertise in such a creative way. Fly fishing seems like such an art form—balancing technique, patience, and being in sync with nature. It’s great to see more resources out there to help beginners and enthusiasts alike. I’ve been in situations where finding the right information made all the difference, especially during college when I had to tackle some tough assignments. Getting a little help to navigate through all the research and writing https://www.academicghostwriter.org/ really saved me time and stress. I imagine a good guidebook can do the same for those new to fly fishing. Can’t wait to check this one out! Quote
snuffy Posted September 20 Posted September 20 "If you can't see your fly it's because you can't cast!" That guy is hilarious, obviously doesn't sugar coat things. Great shop if you're in the area Quote
