longrodder Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Hi Yawl, Wasn't quite sure where to post this idea so chose this spot. While driving past the Fitzsimmons Brewery today in Airdrie and thinking about how long it is until the cutthroat fishing begins, I thought perhaps there may be some like minded folks in Airdrie that would like to meet every so often over the long winter for a brew and some flytying. With that said I am not a tyer but would like to learn how to tie some basic flies. Thus if some one in Airdrie would like to teach perhaps we could at least discuss to see if the idea is even realistic. Also was thinking of approaching the brewery, if we think this idea is a go to see if we could meet at their place, have some pints, socialize (BS about our flyfishing ) and tie some flies. If anyone is interested please PM at kelly.may@evolvinc.ca Thanks, Kelly May Quote
