zuggbugg Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Hi guys, This summer i motorized our float tubes using a Rhino Cobold 18 lbs thrust motor and a 32ah agm battery. The motor has two speeds and the battery will last about 2 to 3 hours. The battery is 20lbs and that is about as much i can put in the back. I'm looking into li-ion and lifepo4 batteries (12v 50ah) to extend the range. I'm from the Netherlads so i can't bring the batteries on the plane because of restrictions now i'm looking for a dealer in Calgary and i've been searching online but no luck so far.
