creekside Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Anyone have any problems with the rec recoil guides. Section section from the top to the tip top all guides are heavily grooved and one guide has actually worn right threw. Rods only a couple of years old but with many days on the water. Have concerns that if I send the rod in they'll only fix the one worn threw guide and not replace the rest of them. Id be kind of pissed spending the $75 and get it back with just the one guide repaired. In all honesty I dont like these guides there really noisy and kind of small. Would like to replace them myself but that would void the warranty. Ray Quote
Spurly Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Call or e-mail them, they are very good to deal with. Explain the situation, and your expectations. Quote
