I fish Sage rods because I like them, not because of where they're made. The overseas manufacturers are perfectly capable of making stuff better than North Americans, it's the companies who decide the levels of R&D, QA, and materials used. Cutbow16 Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Discovered a small crack in the ferrule in my Encounter 8 wt recently so looking to upgrade to a better 8 weight.
