RedBeard Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) I have followed Taylor reels since their first "type 1" reel came out and I wanted to see what the feedback was like on these reels before committing. They claim to be just as good as the SOME big brand reels for a fraction of the cost. Well this past weekend they launched the Revolution reel on kickstarter and the first backer gets one of these Revolution reels for $1. I was lucky enough and quick enough on the draw to actually be the first backer, claiming that $1 reel prize, which will only be shipped if the project reaches it's goal of $15k. Anyone ever used a taylor reel? They seem like pretty decent builds especially for the price. Korean made, likely in a similar factory to those big name brands. Apparently the Revolution drag system is quite good, but who knows. Ps.
