Spare Oar Mount Ideas

just wondering if someone out there has come up with a clever mounting system for a spare oar. was gonna order the ones from hyde but i get the feeling a guy could rig something up from the local hardware store. anyone rig anything up themselves that they would like to share ?

I carry a third oar on everything but the bow, I have a 3-piece Carlisle. It fits neatly in my rowers bench..... but most the time I just toss it in the side well.
