RunnyD
Was thinking of joining my brother in Ontario for some fall salmon fishing. He centre pins and says they can get up to 20 lbs. The heaviest rod I have is a 7wt switch which I could over line with an 8wt line. I'm not a very good Spey caster yet. Do you think this would work? SilverDoctor
That would work great.

RunnyD
Not sure what type of salmon honestly. Thanks for the replies.
HeavyKevy
A 7 weight switch should work. However I think a single hand 9 weight would probably be better. Most of the rivers are pretty small with a few exceptions.
