Where can we find these guys at? I would like to be close to calagry as possible. I thought made the stream in Kanaskis. The one before the turn off to the lakes. But

Try in the actual Bragg Creek lots of little brooks in there. I would tell you to go to Elbow Lake, but the highway is still closed up that way because of the flood.

Elbow lake is now open (as of last Tuesday). I recieved an email from AB Parks!!!

I heard it was open to Lost Lemon lookout. Don't know where that is in relation to the Elbow parking area.

Is it excepted to keep brookies here and there as well. I know certain places it is but don't know if it is across the broad.

Isn't Bragg Creek on the Tsu'Tina reserve? Do you need permission from the Band to fish there?

Lost Lemon is south of Highwood Pass, so you should be good for Elbow Lake. The size is a little better in Elbow Lake, but numbers in Bragg Creek can be pretty amazing on nymphs. Your choice. Many of the small streams that have browns north of the Bow also have the odd brookie, but you can't count on one any given day. I have caught three brookies in the Bow here in Calgary too, obviously not a high percentage. Unless you have a management license you can only keep what the regulations say, two in most streams.

Not tha I want to keep them all or even one at that. I have just heard and read about the problem they are and how they want to mange them through harvesting.

Yeah you needed to have signed up for the stewardship project to keep more the the regs allow!!
