ghus32
Hi everyone, My brother and I were planning on fishing the bow river in the first week of July, however from the looks of things, that will not be possible. I was wondering if there are any possible trips, maybe even BC border or a little in that would be worth taking a 2-3 day trip?? I was thinking montana, but my passport is expired Thanks

yonderin
Monitor the water and go where you want. I'd think that the further upriver you go, the lower the waterflow. Maybe look at some tribs. Although still high, western waters are dropping. http://www.environment.alberta.ca/apps/basins/default.aspx
Hawgstoppah
I'd think the Crow may be the first one to be really fishable in the full sense of the word. A week from now may be pretty good. As of right now it is still near peak "normal" runoff level.
ghus32
Thanks for the replies everyone. I may try the Crow. I was also thinking about going out to the sicamous area camping at a friends campground. I did a little bit of research and it is close to the Eagle river. anyone ever fished it? I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for BC in general, I dont mind driving for 8-10 hours if it gets me into some good fishing. Thanks again
bigalcal
Watch river flows....The forecast doesn't call for rain so the tribs could slow down and clear up quickly. Least...that's what I'm hopin'!!
