ghus32
HI everyone, I was wondering if Glenmore to Mcinnons is a feasible float for this time of year. I havnt been to Calgary in a month and wondering if there is enough daylight.. Thanks
Tungsten
never done it myself,if you start early and stay in the main flow could be done.but if you want higher #'s of fish i would shorten it so you could stop more.
Gil
I think you might be floating in the dark. Just Police to Mac is a pretty full day this time of the year. Float rate is low so you are moving slow and the days are getting short.
FlyFishingEMT
I did it a month ago in 8 hours but the river was flowing three times what it is now. I agree with tungsten that a longer float doesn't always mean more fish. Stopping and working good water usually adds quite a few fish to your day. Yesterday FC to Mac was 10 hours with not a lot of stopping.
