bjbailey Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I personally like anything rabbit. Double or single bunnies, oversized zonkers, etc. I usually use white, olive, or black (and any combination of these) with a bit of flash. Most important is the weight though, it's tough to have too much of that! Quote
Guest NamasteMushroom Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Pink thing, one foot above a white double bunny. .......or a buzz bomb. Quote
Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 anything over 6" is good for me and the bulls lol Quote
ironfly Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 That's what she said. I don't like casting really heavy flies, so I tye them sparsely with synthetics and bucktail, and use a fast sink tip. Quote
Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 i agree with you, i dont use much to any rabbit in my flies as i hate casting what feels like a dish rag. A good intruder will give the same effect to the animal with a brain smaller than a dime and the switch is set to eat everything lol Quote
FraserN Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I have had my best luck with large, dark olored wooly buggers, about size 2. Quote
