Bow River Streamer Colors

Hi Guys,

 

I have been tying a bunch of streamers for the bow, getting ready for the runoff and whatever.

 

I primarly tie Olive/White or Black/White plus just Black, Olive, and White. I have tried Yellow with little luck. I seem to have the best luck with Olive/White but will admit I don't try enough other colors.

 

What color streamers would you guy recommend for the Bow?

for run off i like black with the Yumer Monster Cones. I think they push water in the dark and that helps the fish find them. I have watched multiple fish rise to check it out at my feet as im undoing a wind knot. Cant wait for the next few weeks

other than the usual colors, I like brown/yellow combos like JJs and Space Invaders

not sure, i picked them up a while ago at a show. But i think you can get them from Yumer

Tan/brown is a good color to . Look up the bellyache minnow. That's a good streamer.

I have always done well with Olive Buggers size 4-6...Reasonable well with Black as 420 says with run off. Olive seems to work best when water is clear. Used to use white bucktails with a ton of success in the Elbow...

Black and dark brown is what I use for streamers on the Bow most of the time. Works just fine in high run-off water.

Use Chartreuse bunnies, size 4, for the first two weeks of July.
