RunnyD
What's the best way to fix a nasty nick in a fly line? I've heard tying a nail knot around it and using zapagap to using flex- zap, which by the way is hard to find in Calgary. Suggestions? cheeler
I have used a plastic adhesive from Lepage that I found at Canadian Tire. Just make sure that the core isn't damaged or wet before applying.
Jayhad
I use aquaseal, UV KNot glue will come off after a while, Zap a gap and crazy glue dry hard. Aquaseal is what I have found to maintian the lines softness and will hold forever
hydroman
AquaSeal did the job for me when I had the same problem.
Flyfisher
Another for Aguaseal. Be sure to clean the nick area well before applying the Aquaseal. 100% isopropanol will remove any residue or line dressing.
