Hawgstoppah Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Here's a few big ol' girls (and boys) from my wanderings this fall. A nice big male 23.5" Same fish closer up net opening is 18", this fish actually went 25 hard to tell in the pics I didn't get a good angle and didn't want to mess around getting a better one. Yes it is in the water, halfway, as you can see my net is mostly underwater. Tight lines!! Quote

Carlodabroads Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Whoa, those are some chubby bows. Super pretty too and look rather un-abused. Nice work, nice shots. Quote

Mykiss Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Wow.............and to think Dune went to BC to catch steel smaller than those. Ha classic!!! Comparing pellet feed rainbows to Wild steel would be like comparing a 1982 Lada to a Ferrari 458 Italia. Hijack done. Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted September 23, 2011 Author Posted September 23, 2011 Edit: there are absolutely no fish in rivers in southern alberta whatsoever. They all went to the Bow. Or into reservoirs. They all hang around the docks waiting for pellets. Quote
