 My son and I just returned from a wonderful 4 day fishing trip that included a float tube day chasing the Gerard Trout on White Swan, a walk and wade on the Elk, a drift on the Elk, and a short day exploring the Crowsnest. We built our trip around the Streamwatch float trip donated by board member 'Dune'. This float proved to be the highlight of our birthday gift to each other! Dune and his loyal dog, Skowa, proved to be perfect hosts for our trip, the weather and scenery were spectacular, and we managed to have some fun with the famous Elk cutthoat and a couple of larger whitefish. Sighting a grizzly along the road was an added bonus. Although the Crow's Rainbow were not to Bow standards, sight fishing them with drys proved to be a ton of fun! Thanks to 'Dune' for providing a dad and his son with a 'net full' of stories, memories, and the basis for just a few more lies!

(Note:After witnessing the amount of rowing required over the 11 hours on a winding river with sweepers, some very thin water, and dangerous rocks to avoid, we gained a huge appreciation of our oarsman's skill and strength-- all without a word of complaint!) This could become a habit!!!

glad you guys had a good day, you guys did well even though the fishing conditions could have been a little better and my river knowledge was a little stale!
