wanderer Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 I come home today and pull into my parking lot to see the manlifts a siding company is using left a giant trail of hydraulic fluid from one end to another. they then used some absorbent or kitty litter to soak it up which only did a half ass job. I complain to the condo board and recieve a response of its not like it was a dangerous chemical or anything its only hydraulic oil. and that they were going to clean it up. well clean up consisted of someone going around with a shovel picking up a little bit of it leaving the majority of it. cant wait for the next rain storm when it all drains in to our rivers. Flyfishen Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 That sucks! I hope your Condo Storm Drains have a catch basin installed so that the City can at least catch most of it and track it back to the outfit that caused it. Is it a newer condo? If so the City should have this installed to monitor the drains. jksnijders Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Ever looked at the streets in Calgary, especially by a stop sign or set of lights? Where do you think that goes, let alone the quantity? Quote
Harps Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Any environmental spills or complaints in Alberta (work around rivers that you think are questionable, spills, anything) should get called into the 24 hr hotline: 1-800-222-6514 Quote
