garthsoby Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Legacy Island Spring Clean Up Saturday May 7 starting 9am WEATHER PERMITTING Spring Clean up duties: • Fence Line Repairs – re-installing up rooted posts • Brush trimming around fence line (reclaim the parking lot) • “Memorial Garden” cleanup • General Trash removal What to bring: • Personal Safety items – gloves, protective eyewear, etc. • Shovel, rake, other garden implements • Pruners and lopers for small brush removal • Chain saw / Wood Saw would be nice for deadfall removal. BBQ meal provided. If interested, please contact the TUC office at 403-221-8360 and register with Kim or Brian. Make sure to leave your contact info in case of weather cancellation. Funny always see lot's of people on the river but when it comes to helping the river very little help is offered why is that? Every who use's our fine resource the Bowriver we need help!
