Bow South Of Brooks

Heading out to the Brooks area this weekend. Looks like a number of bridges cross the Bow south of town. Worth wetting a line there? Still trouty down there, or predominantly pikey? Thanks.

Pikey, and lots of walleye...I actually caught a 38 inch walleye with an 18 inch girth below bassano the other day. 15.2 pounds. Not on the fly rod though. Give it a shot...clouser minnows would be a good bet.

Thanks guys. Now I've started thinking, if I'm that far east I might as well go a bit further and check out Bullshead. Have yet to fish it. I'll have to check with the boss though to see if she'll OK some additional driving. Pike and walleye on the fly sound good too though. Hmmm. Decisions, decisions.
