Off shore drilling is necessary, it is totally safe.

 

There is no pollution downstream of the oil sands, that is a lie made up by greedy university researchers....one microscope is not enough for them.

 

2/3's of the spill in the Gulf has been contained and there has been little damage.

 

Global warming is a myth.

 

Scientists make up problems so they can get money.

 

Now keep on stirrin' the pot, i'm goin fishin and I'm driving my Hummer right down to the river's edge!

Always strange how people magically think that we can stop using oil yet...I wonder what they themselves are doing to go cold turkey? Also are they willing to pay an additional $5000 to $10,000 dollars after tax to significantly reduce their usage? What is the cost point for people to switch to non economic sources of energy?

No, do the math with the amount of off shore platforms and the small number of incidents off shore is still considered safe in actuarial statistics

I think the last incident should be proof, if you follow rules and procedures and don't cut 2 billion dollars more off you budget than the other 2 biggest oil companies combined everything should be perfectly safe.
