Tapatalk Forum App For Handhelds

Howdy,

 

They recently enabled tapatalk on the flyfishbc forum and i have been using it on my iphone and love it.

 

Is there any way an admin can install the plugin for ffc?

Anyway, it's available for lots of phones (iphone, bb, nokia, etc) and makes viewing the forum much more user friendly on a handheld. Plus it keeps your account info stored so you don't have to worry about entering your username / pw all the time.

Very Cool. We'll look into this for the forums. The app suggests we would need to upgrade the forum software, but flybc is still running older software, so it might not be an issue.

 

Just out of curiosity, would anyone else find this a useful service.

I've had no problems viewing and posting to the forum from Mobile Safari on my iPhone for the last few years. Can't see myself paying $3 for an app that basically does the same thing.

It's free if you just use it for viewing and costs 3$ if you want to use it to make posts, etc.

 

I also have an iphone and enjoy the convenience of not having to pinch the screen to zoom in or out, everything 'fits'.

I like the idea as well of not having to constantly scroll and zoom in to read posts on the iphone.
