I'm currently just using a Rio mainstream on it and sometimes it's good, but other times it's difficult to cast into the wind. What are you all using? midgetwaiter Posted September 1, 2010 Share Posted September 1, 2010 I've tried a few different lines with mine and I go back and forth between the Rio Mainstream for longer casts and an Orvis 6wt DT for up close work and nymphing. I was going to try the Rio Gold but I got a sweet deal on the Orvis. I also have a Rio Nymph / indicator line that I really don't care for on that rod, it doesn't seem to load quite right for some reason.
