CF8 Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Its usually still iced over right now, but last year we were up there the last weekend of May and there was about 20 feet of open water around the edges. The hike wont kill you as its fairly short, depending on how far you drive up the road. As for the fish... they aren't too sophisticated up there, so you'll be able to drum up some action.
